Following the celestial arrival of the Spear of Longinus, the story introduces Eva-Impact, a unique entity born from the unlikely union of Nerv's advanced technology and the genetic heritage of legendary thoroughbreds. The premise explores themes of technological advancement, legacy, and the unexpected consequences of merging disparate forces. The narrative centers around Shinji, Rei, and Asuka as they grapple with this unforeseen development, guided by jockey Yutaka Take’s cryptic explanations. Set against a backdrop where the extraordinary intersects with the familiar, the series offers a thoughtful exploration of power and purpose in a world subtly altered by fate.
