User Sony-Sama (Score: 8/10):
I've been in the mood of writing reviews lately, so here's my take: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story 8/10: +On average it's a good plot, new characters are interesting and a joy to watch and the twists keeps us wanting more. Furthermore, the progress depending almost solely on deductions, plans, and tricks rather than action. Art 9/10: +The characters' profiles in the credits were a new and nice touch that I don't remember seeing in any previous DC show. Overall the characters design, sceneries, credits clip were very pleasing and especially Conan's. Sound 10/10:+The Ending OST is an already opening song of the series, but it suited this special, and I love it.nnCharacter 8/10:n+The newly introduced characters are interesting and I appreciate the hacker design who isn't your stereotypical awkward sweaty big guy, but a fit edgy looking guy who's somewhat handsome.nAnother great thing that is worth celebrating is Hibara's role! She's my favorite and seeing her more in action and on the run is the best thing ever, and might as well mention her interactions with Ran (though they're as always at minimum) were so amusing x3.n- On the other hand, not all the introduced characters are well introduced. For instance, we are informed that ad-lip guy is a big shot and infamous but we don't see, read, nor hear anything supporting that argument.nnEnjoyment 9/10:n+This SP is full of twists some which are predictable while others aren't but nevertheless all are enjoyable.nThe characters' interactions and bonds were impressive and moving (Especially the similarity between the couples' situations). It was also refreshing including only a minimum number of the main cast (Ran,Kogoro, Agasa, Hibara) and everything is reintroduced as usual) which makes it enjoyable for almost anyone, and allows room for more interactions.n- Conan was too quick to trust who helped him and even used his bow-tie in front of them which doesn't fit his careful and calculative character.n At the end we never knew what excuse Ran was given, that left me unsatisfied, being the muddy situation it was.nHibara leaving the villain without tying was an amateur mistake and was obviously gonna backfire but this happens every now and then in Conan to keep plots going I guess.nnOverall 8/10 Recommended
