Mifuyu, raised amidst the towering shelves of Mikura Hall, a renowned library deeply intertwined with her town’s identity, feels alienated by the very legacy surrounding her. This reverence for literature is shattered when a theft unleashes an unforeseen consequence – an ancient curse that traps Mifuyu within the narratives held within the library's collection.

Forced to confront the worlds she once dismissed, Mifuyu must navigate fantastical landscapes and perilous situations to recover the stolen books. She finds an unlikely ally in Mashiro, a figure shrouded in enigmatic knowledge, who guides her through this surreal journey.
