Synopsis:
In a world reshaped by the discovery of Originium, a crystalline mineral granting individuals extraordinary abilities called Arts, humanity grapples with both unprecedented progress and devastating consequences. The presence of Originium often coincides with Catastrophes – catastrophic events born from its volatile nature. This advancement is shadowed by Oripathy, a debilitating and contagious affliction linked to Originium exposure, fostering deep societal prejudice against those infected.
Amidst this turmoil, Rhodes Island operates as a paramilitary organization dedicated to finding a cure for Oripathy, striving for equality between the afflicted and the uninfected. Their research is driven by the enigmatic Doctor, whose own amnesia presents a significant obstacle. The series explores themes of scientific ethics, social injustice, and the complexities of hope in a world perpetually on the brink of disaster. It offers a contemplative narrative focused on character-driven conflicts and the search for solutions within a fractured society.
