Synopsis:
In 2061, Earth grapples with the consequences of unchecked space pollution, severely impeding interstellar travel. To address this crisis, an international federation establishes the Cosmo Ecology, tasked with processing hazardous waste on Jupiter and mitigating solar contamination. However, despite these efforts, illegal dumping of radioactive materials into the sun persists, escalating solar activity to dangerous levels threatening global ecosystems.
The series follows a team within Cosmo Ecology as they confront the complex challenges of planetary defense and grapple with the ethical dilemmas surrounding environmental responsibility in a rapidly deteriorating world. It explores themes of ecological damage, international cooperation under pressure, and the consequences of prioritizing short-term gains over long-term sustainability, all set against a backdrop of advanced technology and a looming planetary catastrophe.
