Konoha Akisato’s passion for bishoujo games drives her ambition to become an artist. Landing a position as a sub-illustrator at the prominent Blue Bell company in 2023 initially seems like a dream come true. However, she quickly discovers a disheartening decline in quality within the industry – a landscape dominated by formulaic and uninspired releases emanating from Blue Bell itself. A chance encounter with an old game store transports Konoha to 1992, the nascent years of bishoujo gaming. Thrust into a world of limited technology and traditional illustration techniques, she must navigate a drastically different creative environment while striving to realize her artistic potential within the walls of Alcohol Soft. The series explores themes of nostalgia, creative adaptation, and the evolution of artistic expression across decades.
