A fine collaboration between Bump of Chicken and Sangatsu no Lion’s story. The art was tremendously good, i couldn’t expect any less from the author’s style and how accurately it always describes the feels of it. The sadness within Rei’s heart and how the three sisters’ house was a safe place for him to be and finally rest at ease were very well portrayed during the animation, being complemented by the sound’s intensity and the beautiful lyrics. The song’s meaning, vocals and even the own name, “Fighter” summed up almost perfectly what Rei’s personality is and what he has gone through. A great addition to theanime as an opening. nnI hope we see more of this duo in the next seasons! -

3-gatsu no lion and Bump of Chicken came together and made a music video, how was it? Awesome. STORY: 7/10 How about we start with story, of course since it's a 5 minute long music video there isn't much story there. However, during that 5 minutes they managed to show many scenes from the anime itself and implement them into the music video such as there being many familiar faces in the train. ART: 9/10 The art was new and familiar to the anime at the same time. With it using the anime as a basis, this less detailed art style of 3-gatsu no lion was a great choicefor a music video like this. With them managing to make the art more simple but still really beautiful at the same time.nnSOUND: 10/10nnThe singing of the music video to me, was fabulous. Bump of Chicken did an incredible job with their performance and I hope to see more things like this from them in the future as they were perfect for the job.nnCHARACTER: 7/10nnWhile I do love the characters in 3-gatsu no lion, I feel inclined to give this a 7 simply because this was a music video that didn't heavily focus on character development. Which is completely understandable, after all, it is a music video. The music itself matters way more than focusing on the characters in this.nnENJOYMENT: 9/10nnI can say with all my heart that this music video was very enjoyable to watch and listen to. My hype level increased heavily during the the train scene as the papers blew away as well as the zoom into Kiriyama on the train as you could see many familiar faces in the seats such as Shimada.nnOVERALL: 9/10nnMy overall rating for this music video will be a 9, I loved the 3-gatsu no lion series and when I saw this music video it did not disappoint at all. -

what do you expect out of a 6 - minute music video ? good music and some good visuals . well this went beyond that . the animation , the visuals were very exquisite yet elegant . it was like a short movie . the name of the music video - fighter suits very well as kiriyama is fighting with his dark past/memories . in the end of the video it felt like i had travelled a beautiful journey . watching this right after completing both the seasons makes me very emotional , the video is like a small bomb jam-packed with emotions . andwhen it hits you , you realise how beautiful this anime was .
