Reasons to watch this: - Not remember anything that happens in the first eleven episodes, as the name of the anime and synopsis says. - You just love 3-Gatsu no Lion - You just love Kiriyama Rei - You love Kiriyama Rei and 3-Gatsu no Lion - SHAFT lover - Want to punch Kyouko in the face - Want to hear more of Kiriyama's narration - Want to hear more of the 3-Gatsu no Lion OP - Have time to burnIf you don't have any of these reasons to watching this, there is no need to make time in watching it. You can move along with your life. I'm just patiently waiting for more 3-Gatsu no Lion episodes, as it is my favorite of the Fall 2016 era.

I'll never be a fan of recap episodes. When I was first exposed to them back in the 1990's while cutting my teeth on anime I didn't even like them. These episodes are ground zero for insulting the intelligence of the audience and the studio being flat out lazy. So when I saw that Shaft was releasing this in lieu of putting an actual episode out my heart sank. March Comes in like a Lion is a show I consider to be really good, and this recap garbage is coming off the heels of episode 11, which was legendary. I guess after a high the show hadto hit a low.nnThere's really nothing to see here if a viewer has trekked through the first 11 episodes. And that's the problem with these episodes. They're stock footage just placed in the interim of a season to waste everyone's time. Literally, it's just scenes from previous episodes stitched together into some chimera, an unholy abomination that makes me think that Frankenstein's monster was not the worst transgression against the human race.nnThey're just Lovecraftian horrors that creep into normal shows to drive the average viewer insane.nnI am worse off as a person for having viewed this, and my mental health will not soon recover.

Well, Ill be honest. I was only watching this episode because I started this anime a few months ago and needed a little refresh. So yeah. This episode is basically just explaining the more important events of episodes 1-11. The only things that make this episode particularly memorable is the extra narrations of Rei, and that certain events are explained more (even though they didnt really need more). So yeah, I thik this anime is a 10/10 so far and quite possibly anime of the year last year, and this year as well. However, you dont really need to watch this recap since it onlymentions the more important events and most of them are from more recent episodes. So yeah, a 7/10 from me.
