Synopsis:
Sasshi Imamiya’s life takes an unexpected turn when his childhood friend, Arumi Asahina, prepares to relocate. A series of increasingly strange occurrences follow, pulling them both into a cascade of fantastical realms – worlds blending science fiction, magic, and historical conflict. Each attempt to return to their own reality only leads to new, equally bizarre landscapes.
As Sasshi and Arumi navigate these unfamiliar environments, they uncover a recurring motif: each world echoes elements of their hometown. Their journey is complicated by the appearance of two enigmatic figures, Mune-mune and Eutus, who may hold the key to breaking free. The story explores themes of nostalgia, identity, and the potential disconnect between longing for the familiar and the possibility of genuine growth. The anime presents a blend of whimsical humor and introspective moments as Sasshi and Arumi grapple with their situation and question what truly defines "home."
