Synopsis:

Kaoru Hanabishi’s quiet life as a university student is disrupted by a mysterious encounter at a train station. He offers assistance to a woman in traditional attire, leading her to a deserted lot in his neighborhood. The woman, revealed to be Aoi Sakuraba – Kaoru’s childhood friend and intended bride – has traveled to Tokyo with a singular purpose: to fulfill their arranged marriage.

Aoi’s arrival unlocks buried memories for Kaoru, prompting him to confront the reasons behind his departure from his family years prior. The series explores themes of memory, obligation, and the complexities of personal history within a contemporary setting. It unfolds with a contemplative pace, focusing on character interactions and emotional resonance rather than action-driven plotlines. The narrative emphasizes the lingering impact of past choices and the potential for reconciliation amidst long-held secrets.
