Synopsis:
Kei’s ordinary high school life is irrevocably shattered by an unexpected gift – immortality. This newfound existence, however, doesn't bring power or privilege, but instead marks him as an anomaly in a world grappling with the implications of such a phenomenon. Suddenly, Kei becomes the target of intense scrutiny, viewed not as a person, but as a biological subject to be contained and dissected. The series explores themes of identity and dehumanization as Kei navigates a reality where his very being is deemed valuable only for scientific exploitation. Set against a backdrop of societal fear and governmental pursuit, the story examines the ethical complexities surrounding scientific advancement and the cost of progress on the individual.
