Synopsis:
The quiet town of Mifuse exists in a perpetual present, frozen after a catastrophic industrial accident. Trapped within a self-imposed stasis, its inhabitants grapple with a strange blend of religious fervor and folklore as they maintain their isolated existence. For the youth of Mifuse, time has lost all meaning; physical and emotional growth have ceased, leaving them adrift in a stagnant reality.
Masamune Kikuiri, a student grappling with personal anxieties, finds his world subtly disrupted by Mutsumi Sagami's guidance to a hidden area of the abandoned steel mill. There, they discover a mysterious young girl with lupine features, a being seemingly untouched by the town's stasis. This encounter acts as a catalyst, slowly eroding the established order and hinting at possibilities beyond their perceived confinement. The series explores themes of identity, acceptance, and the search for meaning within a world where time has ceased to flow naturally.
