Synopsis:
This short animated work presents a contemplative glimpse into a near-future world grappling with the blurring lines between humanity and technology. The narrative follows individuals navigating complex societal structures where cybernetic enhancements are commonplace, prompting questions about identity and consciousness. It explores themes of memory, perception, and the potential consequences of advanced technological integration within the human experience.
The visuals adopt a distinct aesthetic reminiscent of cyberpunk, emphasizing urban landscapes and character designs that reflect both organic and artificial elements. Rather than action-driven plotlines, the focus lies on atmosphere and character interactions, inviting viewers to consider philosophical implications alongside the unfolding narrative. The piece offers a thoughtful exploration of transhumanism’s potential impact, rather than presenting definitive answers.

User Damnits (Score: 5/10):
There are a few things I didn't like about this. The fact that it's hard to find the video at all is enough to lower my overall rating by 2. The story was okay, but because I can't find any versions of this with English subtitles, I couldn't fully follow along. If you know other languages like Japanese or Chinese, I'm sure you'd rate the story better. The art was good, well drawn, no issues here. Sound too. The characters could've been better, but they were from another series I think. Was kind of fun to see them make references to Koukaku Kidoutai, but because of the noEnglish sub that I mentioned earlier, I couldn't really keep up and understand.nnI guess I enjoyed it a bit.nnOverall: I give 5/10
