    Synopsis:

    The series follows Futaba Yoshioka, a high school student navigating social anxieties stemming from past experiences. Haunted by a middle school crush who vanished without a trace, Futaba actively cultivates an unapproachable persona to avoid similar heartbreak. Her carefully constructed awkwardness is disrupted by the unexpected reappearance of Kou Tanaka, now known as Kou Mabuchi.

    However, the Kou she remembers has undergone a significant transformation – he's more reserved and confident than before. Futaba’s attempts to recapture their past connection force her to confront the changes in both herself and Kou, raising questions about identity, self-acceptance, and the potential cost of pursuing lost affections. The story explores themes of social dynamics, personal growth, and the complexities of rekindling old feelings within a shifting environment.
