Synopsis:
At True Cross Academy, a revelation casts a long shadow: one student is the son of Satan. However, this revelation takes a backseat to a more immediate crisis. The left eye of the Impure King, a formidable demon, has been pilfered from the academy's secure Deep Keep. As a second theft occurs in Kyoto, Rin Okumura and his fellow Exwires are dispatched to unravel the mystery surrounding the Impure King and the thief’s motivations.
The mission tests the fragile bonds between the exorcists, particularly for Rin, who struggles to bridge the gap created by his heritage. He seeks to master his inherited demonic power through rigorous training. As the investigation deepens, a growing sense of unease emerges – the possibility of betrayal within their ranks threatens to unravel their efforts and leave them vulnerable to an unknown enemy. The series explores themes of trust, identity, and the burden of inherited legacies within a world of supernatural conflict.
