Synopsis:
Set in a post-apocalyptic 22nd century, this series follows the interwoven journeys of Deunan Knute and Briareos as they navigate the devastated ruins of New York City. Briareos, already integrated with cybernetics, and Deunan are recruited by Two Horns, a warlord controlling a fragmented city, to eliminate dangerous combat machines. Their mission unexpectedly aligns with Iris and Olson, who are pursuing a separate objective involving a powerful secret weapon.
As the group unites, they become entangled in a conflict against Talos, a formidable cyborg seeking to weaponize humanity's last hope. The narrative explores themes of survival, loyalty, and the moral complexities of a world reshaped by conflict and technological advancement. The atmosphere is gritty and grounded, focusing on character dynamics amidst the backdrop of urban decay and relentless struggle.
