Synopsis:
Princess Arete exists within the gilded cage of her father's castle, her world limited to observations from a tower window. While noble knights vie for her hand through quests for ancient artifacts – relics of a vanished sorcerous civilization promising dominion over the kingdom – Arete finds herself increasingly disconnected from this arranged fate. She yearns for genuine connection with the people beyond the castle walls and the adventure detailed in her secret books. Her solitude is disrupted by Boax, an enigmatic sorcerer who arrives in an extraordinary flying machine, proposing a union that promises to redefine her very identity, offering a path away from royal obligation and towards an unknown future. The series explores themes of freedom versus duty, societal expectations, and the allure of self-discovery in a world steeped in tradition and magic.
