    Synopsis:

    In the war-torn world of Ars, humanity struggles for survival against colossal beasts. The conflict is waged by nagimori, warriors who channel volatile magical energies known as kannagi. Jiiro, a veteran nagimori grappling with personal loss, encounters Kuumi, a newly awakened kannagi fleeing a shadowy research facility.

    Bound together by circumstance, they embark on a journey to evade their pursuers and uncover the truth behind Kuumi’s origins. Their travels are joined by Myaa, a spirited young girl with an enigmatic cat-like headdress. As they navigate the dangers of Ars, Jiiro and Kuumi find themselves confronting not just monstrous threats, but also the complex and often ruthless machinations of those in power. The series explores themes of trauma, responsibility, and the blurring lines between humanity and the very forces it employs for defense.
