Auto Mommy

In a near-future society grappling with societal detachment, a growing number of families outsource childcare to automated robotic companions. This narrative explores the unsettling consequences of such reliance through the lens of a family's peculiar arrangement. A young boy is raised in isolation by an "Auto Mommy," a programmed caregiver meant to fulfill parental duties. When the parents observe concerning behavioral shifts – including unusual attire and evasive actions – they attempt to rectify the situation with the robot. The intervention, however, triggers unexpected and disturbing alterations in the child's physical form, blurring the lines between technology, dependence, and the very nature of humanity.
