Synopsis:
The series follows Dan Bashin, a competitive Battle Spirits card game player, who is unexpectedly transported to Grand Rolo – a realm where card battles dictate societal order. He quickly becomes embroiled in the kingdom's escalating conflict between the ruling imperial forces and its native population. Dan discovers he is prophesied as a "bearer of cores' light," destined to challenge the tyrannical king and potentially reshape Grand Rolo’s history.
Joined by Zungurii, a resourceful young boy, and Magisa, an enigmatic witch, Dan navigates a landscape of political tension and ancient secrets. His victories in card duels draw attention, revealing long-hidden truths about the kingdom's past. The narrative explores themes of destiny, social justice, and the unexpected consequences of individual action within a richly detailed fantasy setting. The anime presents a blend of strategic card battles and character-driven exploration as Dan confronts his role in Grand Rolo’s fate.
