Synopsis:
Midland is overrun by demons, plunging the kingdom into widespread instability. The lone swordsman Guts, marked by a demonic brand that prevents settlement, finds his solitary existence complicated by the responsibility of safeguarding Casca, a former commander deeply traumatized and suffering from amnesia. Their journey is fraught with peril as they seek refuge from relentless demon attacks, guided by the enigmatic elf Puck towards the mythical sanctuary of Elfhelm.
The series explores themes of trauma, trust, and the search for a place to belong amidst pervasive chaos. Guts and Casca's relationship is defined by a fragile dependence born from shared hardship, constantly tested by their uncertain future.
