    Synopsis:

    Set within the war-torn Kingdom of Midland, the story follows Guts, a solitary mercenary known for his unmatched skill with an enormous blade. Content with a life defined by combat, his path is unexpectedly altered when Griffith, the charismatic leader of the Band of the Hawk, extends an invitation to join their ranks. Guts’ defiant rejection escalates into a duel, resulting in his defeat and subsequent forced allegiance.

    Now integrated into Griffith's company, Guts finds himself embroiled in Midland's conflict against the Empire of Chuder. However, underlying the war effort is a growing sense of unease. Griffith’s ambitions appear far-reaching, hinting at a purpose that extends beyond simple military victory. The narrative explores themes of duty, free will, and the complexities of loyalty within a world steeped in violence and political maneuvering, as Guts navigates a new reality bound to a man with hidden desires.
