    Synopsis:

    Set against the backdrop of early 20th-century Japan, the series follows five high school students who find their mundane lives upended by the arrival of Nuru, a talking Pallas's cat from the future. Living a carefree existence within their school’s "do-nothing" club and dormitory, the boys are tasked with a daunting mission: prevent Earth's impending destruction.

    Nuru's warning sparks uncertainty amongst the group, leading them to embrace a path of action driven by personal conviction. This decision results in a transformation that unites them as the Haikara Romantic Troupe. However, their efforts are complicated by the emergence of a clandestine organization known as the Bankara New Elite Squad, whose ambition is to seize control of the planet. The narrative explores themes of responsibility, free will, and the unexpected heroism found within ordinary individuals navigating extraordinary circumstances.
