Synopsis:
In a sprawling, desolate metropolis of towering structures and labyrinthine corridors, humanity has vanished. The narrative follows Killy, a solitary wanderer tasked with cataloging and archiving the city’s vast data stores. He navigates a world dominated by colossal architecture and unsettling silence, encountering cryptic messages and remnants of a forgotten civilization within the digital echoes of the city.
The anime presents a meditative exploration of isolation, memory, and the nature of information in a post-human world. Killy's journey is less about action and more about observation; a quiet odyssey through decaying beauty and technological ghosts. The visuals emphasize scale and emptiness, fostering a sense of profound solitude and prompting reflection on the potential consequences of unchecked technological advancement and societal collapse. It offers an experience prioritizing atmosphere and philosophical contemplation over conventional narrative structure.

There's one word that perfectly sums up the Blame! Special/Collapsed Data: pointless. Utterly pointless. This is just a bunch of clips from the original Blame! OVA, blurred up, with added computer voices and a bunch of flashing symbols. It seems more like some sort of brainwashing tool than something you're actually supposed to watch. The art, when you can actually see something clearly, is okay. Honestly, there was only about 5 seconds of clear viewing. The sound will give you a headache. Really. It will. Character? What character? There's no character to be had, except in the very end when you see an image of Cibo, or whatI assume is Cibo. You see a silhouette of Killy, and blurry images of silicon creatures, but other than that, nothing.nnI didn't enjoy it, can't recommend it, and I hope you just skip this OVA.
