Synopsis:
In a near-future Germany, a devastating outbreak of cybernetic entities known as "Amalgams" has thrown society into chaos. Formed to combat this threat, the Xenogenesis Assault Team (XAT) faces a dual challenge: suppressing the Amalgams and investigating a disturbing phenomenon – humans who have been irrevocably altered by the same process.
The series follows Joseph Jobson, one of these "amalgamated" humans, who possesses potent abilities but is now branded a primary target by the XAT after a fateful encounter. Forced into hiding, he navigates a dangerous world while seeking understanding and allies. His journey culminates in a transformation into the Blassreiter, a figure of immense power and notoriety. As he battles for survival, Joseph uncovers unsettling truths about his origins and the true nature of the Amalgam conflict, forcing him to confront a larger conspiracy. The narrative explores themes of identity, control, and the blurred lines between humanity and technology within a tense, action-oriented setting.
