Synopsis:

Set in a near-future Earth dominated by the Blue, an insectoid alien race that supplanted humanity, *Blue Gender* follows Yuji Kaido as he awakens from cryosleep aboard a human space station, Second Earth. Suffering from a debilitating illness, Yuji is unexpectedly recruited for a dangerous mission to reclaim their ancestral home.

The narrative centers on the harsh realities of warfare against a superior foe. As Yuji and his fellow soldiers navigate the ravaged landscape of Earth, they confront not only the Blue's formidable strength but also the moral compromises demanded by survival.
