Synopsis:

Aoba Watase’s life shifts dramatically when a colossal automaton attacks him, prompting intervention from his classmate Hina Yumihara. Hina reveals a future origin, transporting Aoba seventy years into the past to avert his demise. He awakens within the cockpit of a Valiancer, the "Luxon," amidst a conflict between the Free Pact Alliance and the Zogilia Republic.

Discovering a unique connection with FPA pilot Dio Weinberg through a process called “coupling,” Aoba gains access to shared experiences and enhanced combat abilities. However, his arrival triggers suspicion, leading to his detainment by the Cygnus, an FPA warship intent on uncovering the truth behind his sudden appearance. As Aoba grapples with the possibility of returning to his own time, he finds himself unexpectedly drawn into a larger struggle for the future of the world, navigating complex alliances and the realities of prolonged warfare. The series explores themes of fate, consequence, and adapting to unforeseen circumstances within a technologically advanced setting.
