Capsule Boy

In a world subtly altered by extraterrestrial presence, small, six-centimeter Degirdians unexpectedly arrive on Earth. These beings, pursuing fleeing individuals, crash-land in capsule form near a local toy shop. A young boy mistakenly adopts one of these creatures, unaware of its true nature. An unlikely friendship blossoms as the Degirdian and the boy navigate the challenges of hiding from authorities while attempting to repair their spacecraft. Their efforts are complicated by a looming threat – a malevolent alien force seeking to exploit the Degirdians’ arrival for its own purposes. The story explores themes of belonging, responsibility, and the complexities of interspecies connection within an everyday setting.
