Ok, this season was basically tournament with people vs people plans underneath it, typical of the genre, but I liked this season because it brought back things I love about the first series of Vanguard while having the new things grow still. The fights are being played as actual fights in the series before and not that completely garbage, should have been kept for the movie only, fighting that they did in the first season that basically kept me from watching it till I marathoned it. I'm very, very happy about that, but not as excited and happy as I was to see even moreof the cast of the first generation coming back into the show and showing exactly what the second generation has to climb over while also, obviously, helping in stopping the main antags from doing whatever it is they want to do with the Units from Cray.nnThis season is really just about the continued growth of the main three characters and set up for what must come after which is why things ended the way they did and why events happened the way they have. Anyone who is reading this I hope you got that beforehand because it lets me know that you have been in this genre long enough to get it. The bgm is better than before, the looks is still Bushiroad, and Ren-sama is still legit best guy ever so fuck it come watch this thing.

THIS REVIEW CONTAIN SPOILER!! WARNING AHEAD!!! This is my First Review, sorry if i had many mistake in my grammar and spelling Story: 4/10 The Story is continuation from the previous Season , Team Try 3 Will be participating in G-Quest for Generation Master Title and the Original Cast will be re-appearing, the Sypnosis sounds interisting but to achieve that Team Try 3 need a plot Armor to defeat The original cast that participating in G-Quest this is where the problem start , the legendary Fighter from the Original Cast is getting fodderized by Try 3 that has to get minimum 50 point to become Generation Master ,since one branch usually give 10 point maximum , Team Try 3 Need to win in 5 of 6 Branch while the sub-plot like Shion, Tokoha and Chrono Problem and the main antagonist Ryuzu Myoujin isn't enough to give me more than 4.nnArt and Animation: 9/10nThe Art is gorgeous in many aspect The colouring is very good while the Animation is nice, some episode has a really good detail. i give it 9nnSound 9/10nAs always Vanguard Soundtrack is Great, the OP and ED is fitting While the OST is the same as vanguard G , but overall Great. i give it 9nnCharacter: 6/10nGirs Crisis is also focused in the characterization of it's character like the previous season the diffrent is the characterization is kinda force in this one for example Shion trying to become the new Kai but no it didn't work Kai is Kai while Shion is Shion but i liked the Idol Characterization. Overall i give it 6nnEnjoyment: 6/10nI pretty enjoy this season because the original cast is returning but the plot armor of team Try 3 Make me lower my score , and i realized that this season is basically the same as 2nd and 4th Season of the original series but instead losing this season is focusing on winning so i give it 6nnOverall: 6/10nGirs Crisis is an average Season for me , when it's first air i was very hype for the Original Cast returning that only get beaten by Try 3, even though this season was a let down i still give it 6 for the original Character Returning. I hope Stride Gate is better though

With GIRS CRISIS you can see there’s an attempt made to course correct after the absolute disaster of the first season but sadly it’s still terrible. The main character Chrono is still a Gary Stu who always wins facing no obstacles along with Tokoha, but fortunately Shion actually gets some development after his parents lose their business somehow due to the work of some crafty villains forcing him to work his way back up. After an encounter with Kai where he gets brutally defeated over and over again, he gets taken him under his wing giving him a mentor and boss to beat at theend of GIRS CRISIS (the fight/s were really entertaining) while he also attempts to discover and locate those who humiliated him and destroyed his parent’s business giving him an antagonist/s to beef against too. It’s crazy how a deuteragonist/rival gets all this developments and challenges while the MC who hogs most of the episodes stays as an insufferable boring win machine. If the MC and Tokoha had something like this going on this shitpile of an anime might have actually been watchable. nnAs you can tell from Kai being mentioned, GIRS CRISIS reintroduces the old cast perhaps in an attempt to being back disillusioned viewers. The problem is aside from being a pathetic attempt at nostalgia bait instead of a proper storyline involving and development the new cast, the story is revolves around said beloved old characters getting fodderised one after another by Sues Chrono and Tokoha (Shion earned his wins more though) which is safe to say incredibly insulting. But that’s to be expected when the foundation of the G storyline was such a failure. Not much potential for a decent story to begin with. nnStride Gate review next.
