Synopsis:
Cardia Beckford lives isolated after inheriting a dangerous legacy from her father. Within her chest resides the Horologium, an artifact of immense power that simultaneously grants incredible energy and a devastating curse – rendering her skin destructive. Hunted by factions like the terrorist group Twilight, who have historical ties to her father, Cardia is compelled into the custody of the British military. Her confinement is unexpectedly disrupted when Arsène Lupin, the renowned thief, intervenes, offering her protection in exchange for stealing the Horologium.
Alongside Lupin's eclectic crew, Cardia embarks on a journey to unravel the mysteries surrounding her father's past, the true nature of the Horologium’s power, and the fragmented memories that haunt her. The series explores themes of identity, consequence, and the ethical implications of extraordinary abilities within a richly detailed, contemporary setting.
