Synopsis:

In an alternate Japan, the boundaries between myth and reality have blurred. A diverse array of extraordinary beings – extraterrestrial entities, creatures from forgotten folklore, advanced cyborgs, and individuals touched by ancient power – exist alongside ordinary citizens. The Superhuman Bureau monitors these individuals, a task overseen by Jiro Hitoyoshi. He navigates a world where superhuman abilities are commonplace, ranging from discreet anonymity to public spectacle.

The series explores the complex societal implications of such powers, examining themes of identity, responsibility, and the delicate balance between order and chaos. It presents a grounded perspective on a fantastical premise, focusing on bureaucratic processes and interpersonal dynamics within a world constantly grappling with the extraordinary. Expect a narrative driven by observation and consequence rather than grand conflicts, offering a nuanced portrayal of humanity adapting to a radically transformed reality.
