Synopsis:
The story follows the everyday life of the Nohara family, particularly their interactions with their beloved dog, Shiro. Their routine is disrupted when Shiro inadvertently becomes entangled with an extraterrestrial device during a family trip to Okinawa. Unbeknownst to them, this object is a powerful bomb dropped by a peculiar alien faction known as "The Only Buttocks Aliens," capable of global destruction.
The discovery of the bomb triggers intervention from UNTI, an organization dedicated to monitoring unusual natural phenomena. However, their efforts are complicated by the arrival of the Hinageshi Opera Company, a terrorist group also seeking to control the device. The narrative unfolds with comedic situations and musical interludes, exploring themes of family bonds and unexpected responsibility against a backdrop of escalating cosmic chaos.
