Synopsis:
The Nohara family relocates to Mexico City under unusual circumstances – Hiroshi is tasked with managing a new cactus harvesting operation promising exceptionally sweet nectar. This move disrupts their life in Kasukabe, forcing them to adapt to a vibrant, unfamiliar environment. Young Shinnosuke is drawn by tales of the city’s youthful energy, but the family's arrival coincides with a hidden threat. The region is plagued by aggressive, carnivorous cacti that endanger the town.
As the Nohara family integrates into their new community, they find themselves unexpectedly embroiled in defending Mardequellyovaca from this bizarre ecological peril. The series explores themes of adaptation, community, and overcoming unforeseen challenges in an exotic setting, blending everyday life with fantastical threats. It follows the family's efforts to coexist with both the local population and a surprisingly hostile plant life.
