Synopsis:
The world shifts dramatically with the public revelation of vampires, spearheaded by Queen Mina Tepes' ambitious plan to establish a sanctuary in Japan known as the Vampire Bund. Mina's offer to alleviate Japan’s national debt fuels this initiative, but her intentions are met with apprehension and distrust from humans who suspect ulterior motives beneath her pursuit of peaceful coexistence.
Akira Kaburagi, haunted by a past head injury and an inexplicable unease around vampires, finds his ordinary life irrevocably altered upon meeting Mina. Her presence unlocks repressed memories and a growing compulsion to protect her, a drive he struggles to comprehend. He soon uncovers a hidden truth: Akira is bound by destiny as a werewolf, sworn to safeguard the vampire queen. As tensions escalate within the burgeoning Vampire Bund, both Mina and Akira confront a complex relationship forged in shared purpose and shadowed by ancient obligations. The series explores themes of prejudice, memory, and the weight of predetermined fate.
