Synopsis:

Thirty years after a cataclysmic spatial quake reshaped the Eurasian continent, sporadic tremors continue to plague the world. Shidou Itsuka, a high school student living a quiet life with his sister Kotori, is thrust into a world of otherworldly beings when an impending quake reveals a mysterious Spirit girl at its epicenter. He becomes entangled in a conflict between the Anti-Spirit Team, dedicated to eliminating these entities, and Ratatoskr, an organization seeking peaceful coexistence.

Unexpectedly, Kotori takes a proactive role within Ratatoskr, tasking Shidou with a unique solution: forging bonds with Spirits through romance. The narrative follows Shidou as he navigates encounters with various Spirits, attempting to understand their origins and potentially avert further disasters through unconventional means. The anime explores themes of prejudice, connection, and the delicate balance between humanity and the unknown, set against a backdrop of lingering global instability.
