    Synopsis:

    Decades after the emergence of the enigmatic Gadoll, humanity's remnants reside within the colossal mobile fortress Deca-Dence. Society is rigidly stratified, with the privileged Gears operating the frontline defense and the Tankers sustaining the war effort from within the lower levels. Natsume, a determined young woman with a prosthetic limb, challenges this established order, striving to become a frontline combatant despite societal restrictions.

    Assigned to a demanding cleaning position within an armor repair unit led by the enigmatic Kaburagi, Natsume finds herself navigating a complex mentorship. Kaburagi, initially detached, recognizes in Natsume a disruptive potential. As he prepares her for an unconventional role, the narrative explores themes of social mobility, purpose, and the subtle ways individuals can challenge deeply entrenched systems within a world perpetually at war. The series offers a contemplative look at survival and rebellion within a confined, technologically advanced environment.
