Synopsis:
Following a devastating meteor impact and subsequent takeover by a hostile force, humanity struggles for survival. Tetsuro Daiba, orphaned by the event, is unexpectedly contacted by Mello, a woman of ambiguous origins. He awakens aboard a spacecraft, possessing latent piloting skills he never knew he had. Assisted by a scientist friend, Tetsuro investigates the oppressive regime while grappling with his newfound abilities and the mystery surrounding the meteor's arrival.
He encounters Rei Yuuki, a pilot wielding extraordinary skill in defense against the enemy’s forces. Both Tetsuro and Rei appear to be uniquely significant to the ruling Queen Photon, who claims to offer salvation from the meteor’s origins. With guidance from a telepathic feline companion, the trio must decide their future: remain on a dying Earth or venture into the vastness of space in search of answers. The series explores themes of identity, survival, and the weight of inherited legacies against a backdrop of technological conflict and cosmic uncertainty.
