Synopsis:
Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1983 Shinjuku, this story follows Akutsu Jouji, a Yakuza member burdened by a past marked by misfortune. After a fateful brawl with a university cheering squad, a series of unfortunate events culminate in betrayal and self-destruction in 1993. However, fate intervenes, transporting Jouji back to the moment before his downfall. Armed with the knowledge and regrets accumulated over a decade, he chooses a different path. He adopts a new identity, symbolized by a distinctive gold emblem, and navigates a familiar yet altered world. The narrative explores themes of redemption, consequence, and the potential for altering one's destiny through experience and newfound resolve within a gritty urban environment.
