Synopsis:
In a fractured landscape of magical conflict, the ongoing Fourth Holy Grail War faces a new, unforeseen crisis. Church supervisor Risei Kotomine unites the dwindling number of Servants and Masters to address an escalating threat poised to destabilize Fuyuki City. The fragile alliance quickly frays as the desperation for victory compels Masters to embrace increasingly ruthless tactics.
The narrative explores the complexities of heroism through the strained relationship between Kiritsugu Emiya and his Saber, highlighting diverging views on honor and sacrifice. Elsewhere, Kirei Kotomine’s search for meaning leads him toward a significant connection with a fellow Servant, questioning the true value of personal fulfillment within the war's destructive framework. As the Grail War nears its conclusion, the anime examines the moral compromises made in pursuit of power and the ambiguous nature of triumph.
