Synopsis:

Cocona, a seemingly ordinary middle school student, encounters Papika, a spirited girl who introduces her to the enigmatic organization Flip Flap. Their initial task involves navigating Pure Illusion, a fractured dimension filled with shifting realities, in search of crystalline fragments. This quest thrusts Cocona and Papika into unexpected challenges as they discover their ability to transform into magical girls, wielding powers derived from the crystals they collect.

Facing formidable creatures within Pure Illusion, Cocona – as Pure Blade – and Papika – as Pure Barrier – must learn to master not only their individual abilities but also to synchronize their emotions and actions. Their battles are complicated by the presence of other magical girls from a competing faction, highlighting themes of cooperation, rivalry, and the importance of emotional connection in overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds within this surreal landscape. The series explores how personal growth is forged through shared experiences and confronting the unknown.
