Synopsis:
Alex, a French Bulldog, finds his comfortable life with his owner, Ai, irrevocably disrupted by a chance encounter on a bus. Separated from her, he assumes the name Freddy, inspired by a character in Ai’s beloved storybook, "The Adventures of Freddy." Driven by a singular purpose to reunite with Ai, Freddy embarks on an unexpected journey. His quest intertwines with a larger threat – the decline of the Fortune Tree, a mystical entity vital to the emotional connection between humans and their animal companions.
Alongside newfound allies, Freddy must navigate a world increasingly detached from empathy. The narrative explores themes of loyalty, responsibility, and the profound bond shared between people and animals as Freddy strives not only for his own homecoming but also for the well-being of countless human-animal relationships. The series balances heartwarming moments with challenges that test Freddy’s resolve and the strength of his friendships.
