    Synopsis:

    Hamaji Ooyama has spent years living a self-sufficient life in the mountains, content with solitude until an unexpected invitation from her brother disrupts her routine. Drawn to the bustling city of Edo, she discovers a disturbing reality: a series of brutal killings attributed to the Fuse, a secretive group of human-dog hybrids plaguing the populace. Tasked by her brother with tracking down the remaining members of this dangerous faction, Hamaji finds herself navigating a complex urban landscape where appearances are deceiving. She must learn to discern the Fuses from ordinary citizens, confronting the unsettling implications of their ability to blend seamlessly into society while grappling with the moral complexities of a hunt fueled by fear and a government bounty. The narrative explores themes of isolation, belonging, and the blurred lines between humanity and the beast within.
