Synopsis:

Two young women find themselves transported to a realm bound by ancient prophecy after discovering a peculiar book in a national library. Thrust into a dangerous world of slave traders and political intrigue, they encounter Tamahome, a young man connected to the land's spiritual power. Miaka is revealed to be central to a kingdom's fate, believed to be the reincarnation of a divine priestess capable of summoning a powerful protector god.

Driven by the desire to return to her friend, Miaka embarks on a quest to unite the god's legendary warriors. Meanwhile, Yui remains trapped in the library, powerless to assist Miaka but forced to witness her friend’s trials unfold within the otherworldly realm. The narrative explores themes of destiny, responsibility, and the complexities of faith as Miaka navigates a world where ancient legends intertwine with present-day struggles.
