Synopsis:
After a sudden and unexpected death, Masaru Katou finds himself thrust into a bizarre reality. He awakens in a mysterious chamber with a group of strangers, informed they are participants in a deadly game orchestrated by a mysterious black ball known as Gantz. The rules are simple: eliminate alien threats appearing in various urban environments across Japan.
Guided by the pragmatic Yoshikazu, the enigmatic Reika, and the seasoned Jouichirou, Masaru must confront his own mortality and develop unconventional strategies to survive. The series explores themes of survival, camaraderie, and the blurred lines between life and death. Each mission presents a unique challenge, forcing the group to adapt and rely on each other while grappling with the psychological toll of their extraordinary circumstances as they seek a path back to their former lives.
