Synopsis:

In the meticulously maintained metropolis of Russell City, a hidden war unfolds against manifestations of despair known as Horrors. The Makai Order, operating discreetly through everyday enterprises, stands as humanity’s defense. The narrative centers on Sword, a formidable Golden Knight burdened with a cryptic warning – “El Dorado” – hinting at a deep conspiracy within the Order itself. His path crosses with Sophia Hennis, a young woman haunted by her brother's unresolved disappearance, a mystery also intrinsically linked to the enigmatic phrase.

Driven by shared desperation, they forge an uneasy alliance. Their investigation leads them through the city’s shadowed underbelly and into the heart of the Makai Order's history, as they strive to decipher "El Dorado" and uncover the truth behind both the Horrors and the fate of Sophie's brother. The series explores themes of duty, hidden power structures, and the personal cost of protecting a fragile peace.
