Synopsis:
Chiyo Sakura's persistent affections for her classmate, Umetarou Nozaki, take an unexpected turn when his blunt rejection results in a signed autograph – not for Chiyo, but as Sakiko Yumeno, the creator of a popular shoujo manga. This misunderstanding launches Chiyo into a world of manga creation as Nozaki’s assistant, surrounded by the vibrant and eccentric atmosphere of a high school art club.
The series chronicles Chiyo's experiences navigating the often-absurd realities of professional manga production while trying to bridge the gap between her romantic feelings for Nozaki and his detached personality. Alongside fellow assistants and a cast of uniquely spirited students, Chiyo learns the intricacies of storytelling and the complexities of pursuing a crush, all within a comedic framework that explores themes of artistic expression, unrequited love, and the often-unpredictable nature of relationships.
