Ginga Tetsudou 999: Hoshizora wa Time Machine

In a near-future Earth, the interstellar passenger liner Galaxy Express 999 prepares for its journey to Great Andromeda. The ship's crew encounters Jula, an enigmatic young woman who claims to have foreseen humanity’s demise and subsequently vanished into the cosmos. Driven by this unsettling prophecy, Maetel and Tetsuro pursue her aboard the 999, navigating the solar system in search of answers. Their quest leads them to the asteroid Itokawa, a site previously examined by robotic probes, where Jula briefly reappears before disappearing once more. The trail ultimately leads them towards Jupiter, hinting at a deeper mystery surrounding Jula's vision and the potential fate of humankind.
