Girls Band Cry

The series follows Nina Iseri, a bright but perpetually unlucky seventeen-year-old navigating the transition to university life in Tokyo. Her initial struggles with settling into a new environment unexpectedly lead her to Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist and idol whose music resonates deeply with Nina. This encounter sparks an unforeseen path: forming a band.

The narrative explores the dynamic between five young women as they pursue their musical aspirations. Alongside Momoka, Nina joins forces with drummer Subaru, keyboardist Tomo, and bassist Rupa, each contributing distinct personalities and talents to the group. The story delicately balances the realities of navigating the music scene with the personal growth and interpersonal complexities experienced by the band members.
