Synopsis:
In the bustling port city of Barato, tensions simmer as a gang war erupts. Private Hyakunosuke Ogata of the 7th Division and Toshizou Hijikata, a veteran of the Shinsengumi, find their paths converging on a shared pursuit: the Hidoro gang and rumors of a unique artifact – tattooed human skin connected to a previously escaped prisoner. Driven by the promise of uncovering hidden Ainu gold, the unlikely pair align, navigating a complex web of alliances and rivalries. I saw this OVA had no reviews and felt the need to write one, mainly not to express my opinions on it but to help people that may skip past this OVA since this is a must watch because it adapts a missing chapter from the manga that shows what happened between Ogata and Hijikata’s crew during episode 12 of season 1. Now that I got that out of the way I must say this OVA was pretty good, it was jam packed full of gunfights and was entertaining the whole way through. Frankly with that information and the fact that it is mandatory towatch I don’t see any reason to skip this.
