Synopsis:

In a near-future world gripped by anxiety, colossal robotic entities known as Giant Robo begin appearing globally, leaving devastation in their wake. As these machines turn their attention towards Japan, ordinary diving shop worker Daisaku Kusama is drawn into an extraordinary conflict. Encountering a enigmatic girl called V, he’s guided to ancient ruins in Okinawa, where he forms a pact with the equally massive robot, Giant Robo 1.

Becoming the commander of GR1 through an organization called UNISOM, Daisaku finds himself at the forefront of a growing war against a shadowy faction known as GRO. The series explores themes of responsibility and self-discovery as Daisaku grapples with the immense power he wields.
